With its excellent schools and exciting development, this part of Arkansas is the still the place to be. They say a picture is worth a thousand words, so rather than try to tell you about this great place to be, we’ve decided to show you. Tanker Truck Cuts off Batesville, AR from the World

Well Maybe not really cut off from the whole world, just mine. An 18 wheeler tanker truck, loaded with propane overturned on Ramsey Mountain leaving Batesville, AR yesterday afternoon. Then it stared leaking and they evacuated people in the area. Many people had to detour to the White River bridge at Oil Trough to cross the river to their destinations. First Snow of the Year at Batesville, AR

I woke up this morning and it had snowed. What! I was not happy. No one said anything about snow! So the photos I was planning on taking were missed. That being the case I turned on my police scanner and listened to all the fun our local sheriff department was having. I got out for a little bit in Sheri’s 4×4 and took some photos of what was going on. Hope none of the readers here are in the photos!
