The Train at Riverside Park
Jul 3rd
I remember playing on this train when I was growin up in Batesville, AR. It was in a different location not too far for where it is now. Mom used to take me to DQ (Dariy Queen) for a Dilly bar and then to the park. This is something she also did with all her grandchildren. I even worked with a man whose Dad actually operated this engine at Limedale. I remember back when I got to play on it you could still lock someone inside the boiler.
The old train is looking good now! I’m sure many more Mom’s and Grandmom’s will let there kids play engineers, Train robbers and such.
Tomorrow is the 4th of July! Everyone have a safe and fun time!
Trash The Prom Dress!
Jun 6th
One of our newest offerings at Select Shots are TRASH THE PROM DRESS (TTPD) sessions. We are so excited about these sessions because they are so much fun.
Sheri and I shot our first “Trash the Prom Dress” (TTPD) session with Miranda on Thursday. First we shot a little on lower main Street in Batesville, AR. After about 20 minutes there we blasted off to “secret location”. This is a spot Sheri and I had checked out several times. This was the first time we have done a shoot there and I am sure it will not be the last.
If this sounds interesting to you. Head on over to out web site. You will find a lot more information and can book online (half price Seniors) right now!
You can view a video of the shoot on our facebook page. or at selectshots.com
If your interested in booking a TTPD session. Book Online Here.
Downtown after Sundown
May 23rd
Sheri and I took a walk around downtown Batesville last night. We were doing a little location scouting for our night time shoot we have scheduled. I think this is going to be really cool and something no one else offers in the area.
I thought I would update the blog and post this pics of the Landers Theater.
